Friday, October 12 - Andrew Horne Art Opening w. Greg Ball Band - $Free
Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 7:09PM
Brought to you by the good people at Double Trouble Brewing Company, who make the delicious Hops and Robbers IPA, this should be a great night for Junctionites who like great art, excellent music and maybe just a bit of dancing afterwards. Oh, and it's free. Yeah - pretty awesome indeed.

Recently I was at the excellent Queen West Art Crawl outdoor show in Trinity Bellwoods park, and stumbled onto Andrew Horne's booth. His hyper-realistic paintings blew me away, and the fact that he's a fellow motorcyclist (it's how he finds his subjects) makes him even cooler in my books. I'm really happy to bring him into the space, and I think that you'll really enjoy his art. Come on in, feast your eyes, and then buy one (or four!) and put it up on your wall. You won't regret it.
Greg Ball is a great singer/songwriter from Kingston, ON who is signed to Paul Langlois's Ching Music label (yes, the same guy from the 'Hip). Check out his website, for some great song samples, and come on down to give him a listen. It's good stuff.
DJ OH16
Finishing off the night, will be resident (literally, he lives upstairs, also he does the website and books the bands) DJ OH16, who will probably be spinning something that isn't soul for a change. It might not be the most dancy night he spins, but it will certainly be some cool fun music.
