Tuesday is just around the corner, and on top of the usual great Analog Tuesday activities, we've got a special treat this week.
The good folks at Radio Project X, are stopping in for a teaser presentation of the great show that they will be bringing back in full force in November (stay tuned).
For an hour and a half, you'll be transported back in time, across crackly AM bands, to the land of the Shadow, the Green Hornet and the Lone Ranger. Imagine yourself, sitting around a large console radio with your family, the tubes growing in the ether of the evening, listening with rapt attention to the broadcasts of yesteryear. Except you're in a bar, having a delicious pint of Mill St. and seeing real, actual actors on stage recreating these scripts.
DJ Nick Bandit
As always, our man Nick Bandit is bringing in a crate of the latest wax he's dug up, and will be spinning them for your enjoyment. Next week he might even bring a friend along with him to help him spin. Stay tuned.
We're happy to welcome back the Old Fort Typewriter Co. for a second week. To find out more about their involvement with this night, give this link a click. Bring in your old typewriter if you have a question, or go old-school and write that special someone a letter one mechanical keystroke at a time.
In a shocking turn of events, two time defending champion, updater of this website and guy around the bar Nathan Hunter was dethroned in last weeks Pinball tournament. Despite an impressive display in the preliminary rounds, he cracked under pressure like the local soccer team at the end of a game. Will he regain his form this week, and reclaim what is rightfully his, or will a new contendar emerge, from parts unknown (although likely the Junction).
We've also got Board Games and Knitting as well. Analog Tuesdays - It's a Good Thing.
