Corey Dawkins has been a main fixture in Toronto’s music scene since 1998 as both a DJ and promoter. His versatility, passion and knowledge of music has allowed him to become one of Toronto’s finest in hip hop, house, neo-soul and more.

Corey has teamed up and been showcased with the best talent in the city and he is repeatedly referred to by his followers, and fellow DJ’s, as one of Toronto’s best and most underrated – although that is beginning to change!

Over the years Corey has held a six year residency at Stone Lounge at Revival Bar (Toronto), and has had numerous gigs peppered throughout the city. His sets transcend genre and can move dance floors with House, Hiphop, R&B, Reggae, etc.

Corey’s musical mantra is “A DJ is like a preacher speaking to a multitude of people, I speak with base lines, vocals and chords”.

All of these events are go-to places for the underground music community and Corey is feeling the love!!! These gigs have led to bookings with some of Toronto’s biggest events such as: The Main Ingredient, Sweet Tears, Hip Hop Vs. House and Tortured Soul show.

From 2006 to 2012, Corey was heard on the Vibe Collective every Saturday afternoon on CIUT 89.5 fm. Be sure to find his monthly online sessions in the “MIXES” section or on  Soundcloud and Mixcloud.

2016 is the year for Mr. Dawkins to play on the international stage and strengthen his production skills!! Corey also DJ’s weddings & corporate events.
